Autographed 1949 Bowman of 3-time All-Star and champion pitcher Johnny Sain, signed in blue ballpoint. The card itself presents touched corners and some surface toning, the AUTHENTIC grade due to a potential slight trim. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA. Their population report shows just eight signed examples. Part of a collection of signed 1949 Bowman that was sold at auction more than a decade ago, which we have been offering over our last two auctions. Sain himself passed in 2006 at age 89.
