Autographed 1949 Bowman of 3-time All-Star outfielder Willard Marshall, signed in blue ballpoint. The card itself presents touched corners and some surface toning, with a slanted bottom edge cut, the cause of the AUTHENTIC grade. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA, the signature grading MINT 9. Part of a collection of signed 1949 Bowman that was sold at auction more than a decade ago, which we have been offering over our last two auctions. Their population report shows just four signed examples and Willard himself passed in 2000 at age 79.
