Manufactured by the Endicott Johnson Corporation around 1950, the Joe DiMaggio baseball shoes are highly collectible and relatively scarce to the point where the box alone is in high demand. Presented here is a complete, new-in-box pair of unused shoes, along with the original Joe DiMaggio hang tag, which itself is quite scarce and highly collectible (and even gradeable, as PSA has graded more than 30 examples). The box, while presentable, does exhibit wear and some creasing at the edges of the lid, the original label still affixed to the edge of the box. The shoes are brand new and unlaced, the shiny leather unworn in any way, fresh as the day they were made. Note that there is discussion about whether these shoes were actually manufactured in 1960; as best as we can tell, the shoes were made and marketed around 1950-51 but advertised again in 1960, perhaps as an overstock sale.
