1949 Bowman #171 card signed by Athletics player Dick Fowler in blue ballpoint. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA. One of only three signed 1949 Bowman Dick Fowler examples on PSA's population report and the one example with a card grade as well as an auto grade. Fowler passed in 1972, long before the baseball autograph boom, so his signature is tougher than many from the set. Part of a collection of signed 1949 Bowman that was sold at auction more than a decade ago, which we have been offering over our last two auctions.
