Ticket stub from Game 2 of the 1936 World Series between the New York Yankees and New York Giants. On their way to a 6-game victory, the Yankees would win this game by an 18-4 margin, setting the series record for the largest margin of victory in any World Series game. Hall of Famers Lou Gehrig and Bill Dickey homered for the Yankees, behind the pitching of Lefty Gomez. Joe DiMaggio made a beautiful catch in center field off a 490-foot blast by Hank Lieber. The stub has been graded AUTHENTIC - ALTERED by PSA, the alteration perhaps being a cut along the perforation to improve what was likely an irregular tear. Some heavy creasing is evident upon close inspection; otherwise, an attractive piece.
