I have one to sell!
Extremely attractive postcard featuring the team photo of the 1914 St. Louis Cardinals. Managed by future Hall of Famer and player-manager Miller Huggins that team finished third in the NL with an 81-72 record led by pitchers Bill Doak and Slim Sallee who posted 19-6 and 18-17 records respectively Doak with a 1.72 earned run average in 256 innings pitched and Sallee with a 2.10 ERA and 282 innings. Huggins who can be seen in the front row of the image fourth from the right was the only Hall of Famer on this team and did quite a job with a weaker lineup given the stocked rosters of second place New York and first place Boston. Postally unused the card has been graded GOOD 30 by SGC due largely to overall wear which includes some mild paper loss along the borders (which are flush to the card edges) along with significant corner and surface wear. Despite the technical grade an outstanding card.
