This literal slice of Topps history, taken from one of its 1957 printing sheets, contains no less than three Hall of Fame players, with a rookie card of Frank Robinson among them. The images show how it faced folding and other hazards other time, only to be flattened and repaired by at least one previous owner. Whatever its condition today, it captures well the year Topps moved baseball into full color photography.

The players include Bob Nieman, Elston Howard, Richie Ashburn (HOF), Clem Labine, Frank Robinson (HOF RC), and Gil Hodges (HOF).
