Clearly a key to the 1926-29 Exhibits Postcard Back set this card of Yankee slugger Babe Ruth depicts him at the end of his swing following the trajectory of the ball with his eyes. The yellow-tinted card has been graded FAIR 20 by SGC due to corner rounding and surface wear along with some red staining on the reverse. The card itself is remarkable for the grade however the image of Ruth clear and bold the yellow tint adding an interesting element of color to the card. Babe Ruth is clearly the most desirable subject in the hobby the value of his cards continuing to escalate at a rapid pace. A tremendous card from the prime of Ruth's career. Population Data SGC Population: 7 total graded 1 at this level 2 higher*PSA Population: 23 total graded 0 at this level 14 higher *Please note that SGC has graded an additional 28 Ruth cards from this issue without noting which of the two poses they were grading; as such their pop reports on this card are inaccurate.
