Lot Description  

c.1980's Type I photo featuring Larry Bird and Isaiah Thomas, two of the NBA's most intense rivals of the era. A fantastic in-game shot from official Boston Celtics photographer, Steve Lipofsky, featuring Bird at the free throw line as a young Isaiah anticipates the rebound. Both future Hall of Famers appear to be sporting Converse Pro's, one of the most popular basketball shoes of the decade. Clean and attractive emulsion surface with light toning to verso. Some tape remains affixed to verso towards the right edge, with large credit stamping from Lipofsky Litho out of Brighton, MA at the top. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA.
