Absolutely spectacular T213-2 of Hall of Fame outfielder Zach Wheat this card has received a grade of VG 40 from SGC due to a pronounced wrinkle that traverses the card from top to bottom along the right edge. The wrinkle is barely perceptible in the scan due to the fact that it does not break the surface of the paper but when held close up the wrinkle is very apparent. T213 cards feature a gloss coating that is very susceptible to wrinkling; most surviving cards exhibit some degree of wrinkling or another. What makes this particular example special is its overall eye appeal; the corner wear is virtually nonexistent and the color is so rich that it obscures the wrinkle. The card itself comes from a recent find of Coupon Cigarettes cards that walked into a hobby show in the Northeast and were graded by SGC. The cards were allegedly stored away from their date of issue and handled very little over the years; the result is a group of extraordinary cards with fantastic eye appeal. A beautiful card from a very condition-sensitive set. Population Data SGC Population: 25 total graded 2 at this level 4 higherPSA Population: 7 total graded 2 at this level 1 higher
