Issued as part of a six-card set by the Sporting News featuring attractive tinted photos of several of the day's stars the cards are among the more desirable mainstream baseball postcard issues due to player selection and scarcity. This example featuring Walter Johnson and his batterymate Gabby Street has been graded POOR 10 by SGC partly due to pinholes at the top and bottom of the card and partly due to discoloration related to clear tape also at the top and bottom edges. Postally unused the issue is difficult to find and the cards desirable in any condition.
