Extremely difficult single print from the 1939-46 Salutation Exhibits set featuring pitcher Bobo Newsom. Newsom who won 20 games in 1938 1939 and 1940 pitched for 20 years in the majors with nine different teams finishing his career with a 211-222 record and a 3.98 earned run average. He won an additional 131 games of minor league ball pitching well into his 40s in the Southern Association. The card would likely grade FAIR due to a slight stain in the upper-right corner and several marks from clear tape on the reverse. Still this is a very scarce and desirable Exhibit card capturing an excellent pitcher during the prime of his career.
