Grouping of four Shea Stadium ticket stubs to the 1969 World Series. Collection includes the following: 1) Game 3: Mets win, 5-0, behind the pitching of Gary Gentry and Nolan Ryan, with home runs by Tommie Agee and Ed Kranepool. Stub is in FAIR-GOOD condition with heavy wear at the corners and some light wrinkling. 2) Game 4: Mets win, 2-1 in 10 innings, Tom Seaver shutting Baltimore out through eight. Donn Clendenon's home run in the second would put the Mets ahead, and after Baltimore tied the game, Rod Gaspar would gallop home with the winning run on a bad throw on a JC Martin sacrifice bunt. Stub is in GOOD condition with some minor wear. 3) Game 5 (2 ticket stubs): Mets win, 5-3, Clendenon hitting his third home run of the Series. Both stubs appear in GOOD condition with overall wear. Four stubs total.
