Collector-to-midgrade complete set of 1973 Topps baseball. Considered by many collectors to be the cutoff year for "vintage" baseball cards, the 1973 Topps set was the last Topps set to be issued in series, with a "high numbers" series more scarce than the others. Known for its interesting and sometimes odd action photography, the set is marked by a somewhat plain design, clearly focusing on the player images as the dominant graphic. This set grades approximately 6% EX, 20% VG/EX, 37% VG, 25% GOOD, 10% FAIR and 2% POOR.  Key cards grade as follows: #10 Sutton (VG), 50 Clemente (VG), 85 Simmons (VG/EX), 84 Fingers (VG), 90 Robinson (GOOD), 100 Aaron (VG), 130 Rose (F), 142 Munson (VG/EX), 160 Palmer (GOOD), 174 Gossage (VG), 175 Robinson (POOR), 190 Gibson (GOOD), 193 Fisk (GOOD), 220 Ryan (FAIR), 230 Morgan (FAIR), 235 Hunter (VG/EX), 245 Yastrzemski (EX), 255 Jackson (GOOD), 280 Kaline (VG), 300 Carlton (VG), 305 Mays (FAIR), 230 Brock (FAIR), 330 Carew (GOOD), 350 Seaver (FAIR), 380 Bench (GOOD), 410 McCovey (VG/EX), 474 Ruth (VG), and 480 Marichal (GOOD). Card #615, the rookie card of Mike Schmidt, has been graded EX 5 by PSA.  660 cards total.
