Note: lot title dates these photos to c.1917-18 but further research has revealed Lore Bader was in spring camp with the Red Sox prior to their 1916 campaign but did not make the team. Given that, it's very possible these photos in-fact date to 1916.

Collection of four Type I photographs, each featuring a member of the Boston Red Sox during spring training at Hot Springs, AR c.1917-18. All four photos measure 5" x 7" and include a handwritten identifier on verso of the player depicted. Each originates from the personal collection of former Boston Red Sox outfielder Tillie Walker. Nicely sepia toned group includes: 1) Rube Foster 2) Lore "King" Bader 3) Ernie Shore 4) Anderson (unidentified player). Four photos total, each guaranteed to return as Type I if submitted to PSA/DNA for authentication.
