1920 personal check from Ty Cobb to Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph, for $9.85, the check written the day before Christmas Eve.  Cobb has signed the check in pencil "Tyrus R. Cobb." The signature is dark and clear, unblemished by the cancellation stamps, the check itself in outstanding condition. One of the finest - and oldest - Cobb checks we have handled, authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
