Identical in design to the E106 issue, the General Baking cards are identified by the ad on the reverse. The cards are particularly rare and featured glossy surfaces that were susceptible to cracking and wrinkles similar to the T213 Coupon Cigarettes issues. The 51-card set contained a myriad of Hall of Famers, but the cards simply do not become available frequently so they are highly desirable regardless of subject. Presented here is a strong example of Hal Chase's card, picturing him with the Buffalo Federal League team, in the act of catching a ball. Graded POOR 1 by SGC, the card does demonstrate quite a bit of wear, including creasing and corner rounding, though as one of just five examples graded by SGC, it is quite rare and desirable in any grade.
