The American Caramel issue known today as E91C is one of the most underrated card issues of the era. Player illustrations that bear little resemblance to the actual player are the primary reason for this though our opinion is that the illustrations themselves are beautiful and colorful and the card designs more elegant than most card issues. This example is one of the keys to the set, that of Walter Johnson. Graded AUTHENTIC ALTERED by PSA, the bottom edge has been trimmed to the point where Johnson's position and team affiliation is missing from the bottom, and the American Caramel company name is missing from the reverse.
