One of the key cards in the traditional Topps set, the 1960 Topps Venezuelan Carl Yastrzemski increases the challenge by orders of magnitude. Not scarce by any means, PSA has graded 11,444 examples of the regular 1960 Topps card, with 45 examples grading MINT 9 or better. By contrast, PSA has graded just 56 examples of the Venezuelan version! Of those 56, more than half have graded POOR or lesser. They are truly rare, and incredibly desirable.
This example has been graded POOR 1 (MK) by PSA, with significant surface wear. The surface wear is typical of this issue, of course - PSA has graded just 2,024 examples of any card in this set, about 12% in total have graded POOR or less. The MK qualifier here is the result of the initials "C.G." handwritten on Yaz' cheek, but as is the case with all the key cards from the Venezuelan issues, beggars can't be choosers - the card is seen very infrequently in any grade.
