The quiet confidence of New York Yankee slugger Roger Maris is on full display here in this 1958-61 Jay Publishing Type I image, the Batting/Chest variation. Roger's regal penmanship in bold blue marker really stands out on the black and white image. Plus Roger found a sweet spot to place his autograph, which has earned a perfect 10 by PSA/DNA! 

The era this photo was published ('58-61) saw Maris at his peak, winning two A.L. MVP awards (1960 & 61) and have his iconic "61 home runs in 1961" season that broke Babe Ruth's season record. 

Please note that there are some pencil markings (very minimal on the front, more on the back) and light staining, but it does not interfere with the outstanding signature.
