Any Mickey Mantle card issued during his playing days in the 1950's and 60's gets our attention. Presented here is a young looking Mantle on this 1962 Exhibits, the Stat Back variation, graded a SGC 4. A clean, somewhat obscure example of the baseball and hobby icon, from the 1962 season when Mickey was named A.L. MVP. The Exhibit Supply Company added player stats to what had been blank backs for a two year period, starting in 1962. The cards were sold in arcades and also in select locations in ten cent cello packs. Mickey's impressive career statistics up to that point sure fill up the back of the card!
