A stunning example of one of the more difficult back varieties in the T206 issue this card of Buffalo Bisons shortstop Billy Nattress features a very crisp and well-centered front image with robust color and moderate corner wear consistent with its grade. But it"s the back of this card not the front that appeals to collectors and we"re proud to report that the back is clean and unblemished by paper loss or significant staining the ornate borders centered slightly low and to the right but entirely intact.Categorized as the 9th most difficult back by the T206 researchers at T206Resource.com Carolina Brights-backed cards have continued to gain in popularity over the years as the number of card back enthusiasts type collectors and collectors of T206 rarities continues to grow. A recent study by T206 scholar Scot Reader indicates that Carolina Brights backs have increased in price considerably since initially published at T206Resource.com.This card of Billy Nattress is currently the only Carolina Brights-backed Nattress card in the PSA population report and one of just two graded. While PSA has only recently begun categorizing T206s by their back varieties and we are careful to note that in any auction description where the back variety is a factor we also feel that with a back as scarce as Carolina Brights it is likely that most graded examples of Carolina Brights cards have already been reholdered to reflect the back variety.
