D311 Pacific Coast Biscuit Cards are not well known to the average
collector but they paint a rich portrait of the Pacific Coast League
circa 1911. A small explosion of issues in the 1909-12 time period serve
to document the league but with the exception of the Obak issues, none
so vividly as D311.
Portland's Red Kuhn is the subject
of this example, graded Good 2 by SGC due to heavily rounded corners, worn edges, and soiling around the perimeter. However, the
scarcity of this issue far outweighs any cosmetic flaws on
this example.
SGC has only ever graded 3 total examples of this D310,
with NONE receiving a higher grade than the Good 2 offered here of
Portland's Red Kuhn.
