10 3/4" x 16 1/4" advertising broadside promoting an article in This Week magazine, a supplement to the Sunday Globe-Democrat newspaper in St. Louis.  Described in our print catalog as "c. 1930s," we have isolated the supplement to February 27, 1938, an article entitled "These Schools Teach: 2+ 1 = Out!", credited to Hall of Famer Frankie Frisch.

The broadside was designed to sell copies of that Sunday's paper, and is likely very rare, as it was produced just to advertise one week's newspaper in the St. Louis area.  The red-printed broadside does exhibit wear, long with discoloration due to age.  Though staining, creasing, and holes (likely from some sort of binding and storage) are apparent, but do not detract significantly from the eye appeal of the piece.
