Graded GOOD+ 35 by SGC centering is nearly perfect something which is virtually unheard of with this card. While the card has retained most of its vivid blue color some surface wear has contributed to the technical grade as has the plainly visible corner and edge wear. An examination of the lower-left corner will reveal a diagonal crease through the Yankees logo unobtrusive enough not to detract from the card's eye appeal but certainly visible enough to keep the card from attaining a VG grade. The most obvious flaw in the card is its surface wear which is more than overcome by the card's excellent centering.
