Fascinating 192-page paperback devoted to Oorang Airedale hunting dogs, serving as part magazine, part catalog, with significant sports content.  The catalog includes listings for dog-related equipment, such as collars, grooming equipment, harnesses, crates, chains, and dog whips (!).  The magazine section includes stories and photos, including significant content related to Jim Thorpe, who organized a football team among Native American employees of the Oorang Kennels.  The section also includes stories and photos about visits from Nick Altrock, Tris Speaker, Ty Cobb, and a number of other celebrities.  VG condition, the cover does exhibit some wear, despite being entirely intact. Some faded writing appears along the top border.  The interior pages have fared better, well-protected by the cover, and the photos of Cobb, Speaker, Altrock and Thorpe are all clear with strong contrast.  An extremely interesting and seldom-seen piece.
