The first series of cards in the T206 set were issued beginning in 1909 in cigarette and loose tobacco packs through 16 different brands owned by the American Tobacco Company. It is a landmark set in the history of baseball card collecting due to its size and rarity, with cards of over 500 major and minor-league players issued in the set through 1911. It is known informally as the "White Border" set due to the distinctive white borders surrounding the quality color lithographs on each card.

Hall of Famer Miller Huggins is the subject of this colorful portrait, wearing his bold dark blue uniform with CINCINNATI in red across his chest in front of a solid orange background. Centering is west on the canvas, leaving a thick white border along the right edge. Some light chipping at the edges and soft corners combine with light soiling in the top and left borders to keep this card from grading even higher than it has. A minor crease in the bottom left corner and a small surface abrasion in Huggins' left eye further explain the technical grade. The Piedmont back is gorgeous, with only some light soiling and a small blemish near the right edge. Amazing colors on this example of the Hall of Famer.
