Extremely attractive two-color, four-panel scorecard, folded to 4 5/8" x 7 1/2", an 1890 game between Hartford and New Haven of the Atlantic Association.  Two years removed from his major league career, Ezra Sutton served as player/manager for the Hartford team, where he was joined by other former or future major leaguers Bill Annis, Tom Forster, George Stallings (who did not play in this particular game) and a few others.  The New Haven club included Pat Pettee, Jumbo Schoeneck, Dan Lally, Conny Doyle, Tom Cahill and Jack Horner. The game has been scored in pencil, with a date and teams written in pencil on the cover.  Some additional staining on the interior scorecard page is evident, with wear to the corners and fold.  Still, quite an attractive minor league scorecard which includes some early names in pro baseball, including Ezra Sutton.
