1971 Topps Winner baseball cards were part of a contest run in select few markets during the 1971
season. 25 Grand Prize Winners were
randomly chosen, and they had their choice of:
1) 1000 copies of their own baseball card and a box of 1972 Topps, or
2) A complete set of 1972 Topps cards, containing all series.
At least 19 of the 25 Winners took Choice A. Over the past 50+ years, few of these cards have surfaced.
