Tough 25-card set featuring players from the PCL Seattle Rainiers.  The 4" x 5" cards are tough to find today in any condition, and this group is quite clean, with little significant wear.  The photography in this issue is outstanding, each subject provided a wide background that enables one to get a view of the surrounding ballpark. The issue is scarce enough that PSA lists none in their population report, though its possible that some of the 13 they have graded from the 1943 issue are actually 1944, as seven of the subjects they have graded as 1943 are also in the 1944 issue. The only difference in the design between the two sets is text on the reverse: the 1943 issue reads "Compliments of CENTENNIAL FLOURING MILLS," while the 1944 issue reads "Compliments of Centennial Hotcake and Waffle Flour."  The 1944 issue includes a card of the Rainiers' park, Sicks Stadium - the only set of the four Centennial sets to include one, increasing the desirability of this issue. 25 cards total.
