The 1952 Red Man issue was the first set of nationally-issued tobacco cards since the early part of the 20th Century, and it was worth the wait.  Featuring gorgeous, colorful illustrations along with player biographical information, the cards were packed one to each package of Red Man tobacco.  The bottom of each card contained a redemption coupon redeemable for a new baseball cap, and as such, the cards are often found with the coupon removed.

Presented here is an original owner grouping of cards from the issue, each with the coupon still attached.  Though the cards present well, they do all show signs of handling, most notably at the corners. Grading companies are notoriously tough on these, so we will call them VG, but they are largely crease-free aside from the aforementioned corners, presenting closer to VG/EX.
