As indicated by the paper tag on verso, Joe Dugan and the Bambino are scoring against the New York Giants following Bob Muesel's triple in the second inning of Game 4. After losing the World Series to those same Giants in both 1921 and 1922 the Bombers captured their first title two days later, becoming World Series champions for the first time in franchise history. Gently toned photo exhibits general handling wear at the corners in the form of chipping and some visible creasing. Full paper tag is affixed to verso above large credit stamping from International Newsreel identifying them as the issuing service. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type 1 photo by PSA/DNA.
