Striking 4" x 6" mounted studio photograph of Jocko Flynn with the 1888 Omaha Lambs of the Western Association. Though Flynn had a brief major league career, he had two different poses in the N172 Old Judge issue - this, however, was not one of them, as it is a separate and unique pose. This photo appears to have been created directly from the original negative, as has been the case with several other examples like this that we have encountered, though there is no way to tell when the photo was created. Some wear to the thick mount and photo is evident, particularly chipping around the edges of the photo. The surface displays well, with outstanding detail and contrast. The reverse is largely clean, with a white strip of discoloration to the dark gray mount.
