Interesting grouping of five boxes intended to house various Boston Garter products (and one still does!).  Collection includes: 1) Gentlemen's Boston Garter Box: 6" x 4 1/2" x 2" box and lid with black & white label affixed to plaid-covered box.  VG condition, box remains sturdy, original tissue paper inside. 2) Boston Garter Velvet Grip box: 7" x 4" x 5/8" box and lid, featuring colorful graphics. Edges and corners exhibit wear and some tearing, box is dented in places yet still displays well.  3) Boston Garter Velvet Grip Box & Product: 4" x 4" x 7/8" box and lid. Box is heavily toned but sturdy, displays well despite wear at the corners.  Brown garters inside the box appear unused, but who knows? 4) Boston Garter Knicker for Boys and Girls Box: 5 1/4" x 2 3/4" x 1/2" box and lid, with 25-cent price tag from Mandel Brothers of Chicago affixed to the bottom.  Lid exhibits minor wear with some paper loss here and there, most notably at the bottom--right corner and top-right edge. 5) Boston Garter Slide & Shell Box: 4" x 1 1/2" x 3/4" slide and shell box with red printed graphics.  VG/EX condition with some wear at the edges and corners, still sturdy.  Five boxes total, the makings of an outstanding display.
