Attractive, original-owner set of 1956 Topps baseball cards. Collected in their year of issue and carefully stored away, the cards are virtually all beauties, a large grouping of sharp and clean cards with very little wear beyond light signs of handling, with the exception of the Mantle and Mays (both of which are well-worn).  A technical breakdown of the cards would be 1% NM, 9% EX-MT, 35% EX, 32% VG-EX, 18% VG, 3% GOOD, 2% FAIR and a few lesser. We have taken the liberty of sending 11 cards to PSA, which have graded as follows: # 5 Williams (PSA VG-EX 4), #30 Robinson (PSA EX 5), #31 Aaron (PSA EX-MT 6), #33 Clemente (PSA EX-MT 6 MC), #79 Koufax (PSA EX-MT 6), #130 Mays (PSA FR 1.5), #135 Mantle (PSA PR 1), #280 Gilliam (PSA VG-EX 4), #303 Dyck (PSA NM 7), plus both checklists, each of which graded VG 3.
