In 1933, the C.A. Briggs Company (the same company that produced the E97 cards in 1909) released a 32-card multi-sport set that included generic, illustrated subjects from the worlds of basketball, football, boxing, hockey, wrestling, tennis, golf and more - and one baseball card, featuring the likeness of Babe Ruth, the only player mentioned by name. The colorful cards carried with them a redemption offer, enabling youngsters to redeem a complete set for a baseball, a baseball bat, a catcher's mitt, or a pound of chocolates. The cards are exceedingly rare today, with just eight examples of the Babe Ruth card graded by PSA and SGC combined.

This rare example has been graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC, largely due to surface abrasions and a crease that traverses the card across the lower third.  Still, the color and image are of exceptional quality, the illustration well-centered, the red and yellow bright and bold.  It should be noted that no example of this card has graded higher than VG 3 by either company (each of which counts just a single VG example in their pop reports).  A case where the rarity of the card itself makes it impossible to be picky over condition.
