Stephen John Toole played two seasons for the Rochester Jingoes of the International League (and International Association), going 17-20 in 30 starts for the team between 1888 and 1889. Toole is featured in five different poses within the N172 issue, each an outdoor photo taken when he was with Brooklyn. This example describes him with Rochester, making the card considerably more rare.

In addition to the team being hard to find, this photo is unusual within the set in that it was taken outside, on location, and not in a photo studio. That is real grass on the ground, a real tree hanging overhead, and real bleachers in the background, not a painted backdrop on set. Centering is fantastic, if not slightly north on the canvas. Edges are soft, and the corners are rounded, with three of them showing light creasing.  Image quality is exceptional, the only example of this 1887 N172 Old Judge which PSA has ever graded.
