Spectacular card of the immensely popular Black Sox pitcher Ed Cicotte graded GOOD+ 35 by SGC due to a small speck at the bottom border of the card underneath the word "Americans." Under magnification this speck appears to be something added to the card perhaps a paper remnant from a long-ago scrapbook or something similar simply stuck to the card front. Besides that this appears to be an EX to EX/MT card with outstanding centering crisp color and image quality and virtually no perceptible caramel staining. The lower corners exhibit some wear that would likely keep the card from attaining a higher grade without the blemish at the bottom however the eye appeal of this card is magnificent one of the finest collector grade 1914 Cracker Jacks you are likely to ever see which is particularly important given that this is one of the more difficult star cards in the set. Population Data on a card like this is irrelevant. However for completeness: SGC Population: 14 total graded 1 at this level 12 higher PSA Population: 13 total graded 3 at this level 8 higher
