Advertising its "Award of Merit" from the United States War Department, an attractive canister measuring 8" in height by 4" x 4", with an unscrewable lid, once housing Close's Candy brand of Gloss Candies.  Continuing the company's design motif of blue and yellow coloration, the graphics are quite striking.  The tin remains in good condition, visibly dented at one of the bottom corners, yet still sturdy.  Of note is the paper label still affixed to the front of the tin (though some has torn away), identifying the contents as "Legion Mix." Of interest to hobbyists due to the Close Candy Company's distribution of the caramel cards we know today as 1911 E94 cards.
