The Dodgers took the Series in six games, the first World Championship for a West Coast team. The 1959 World Series was the only World Series between 1949 and 1964 that saw no games played in New York City.
Some light toning is apparent, along with a small moisture stain at the upper-right corner. Corners are worn, the perforation weakened, but eye appeal is quite strong.
