This extremely scarce issue was the first of two baseball card sets produced by Los Angeles confectioner
Bishop & Co. and featured five players from each of the six teams in the Pacific Coast League in 1910.
Pitcher Roy Hitt of the Vernon Tigers is portrayed on this example, which has its share of issues. From rounded corners and staining, to heavy creasing and paper loss in the upper left corner, this example has seen better days. However, the beautiful blue background is still eye catching, the centering is wonderful, and the card's back - which is a checklist for the entire 30 card set - is completely in tact and fully legible.
Regardless of the grade, the scarcity more than makes up for the card's technical
flaws. A tremendous example of an extremely tough and desirable PCL
issue.
