Special collection of 28 assorted passes, membership cards, and business cards issued to Mr. Bill Skiff during the 1960's and 70's. All passes remain in excellent condition with typical foxing and gentle wear to edges due to storage. Includes: International Baseball League season passes (2), Milwaukee Brewers business card identifying Skiff as a scout, National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues annual passes (7), National Baseball Congress ID cards (4), New York Yankees Scout ID cards (4), 1971 New York Professional Baseball Hot Stove League mem. card, 1969 Old Time Ball Players Assoc. of Wisconsin mem. card, Seattle Pilots business cards identifying Skiff as a scout (2 - one w/handwriting on front), 1975 Shea Stadium Diamond Club passes (4), 1969 Tigers Stadium Pass, Yonkers Old-Timers Sports Association mem. cards (2). 28 examples total.

All material offered in this collection hails directly from the estate of Bill Skiff who played briefly for both the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1921 and the New York Yankees in 1926, appearing in 22 games in the major leagues. Perhaps more interestingly Skiff played in parts of 19 seasons in the minor leagues for clubs located just about everywhere from New Jersey to Kansas City, Los Angeles, Toronto and elsewhere. Following his playing days Skiff managed in the minors for 14 seasons between 1933-51 before later becoming a scout for both the New York Yankees and Seattle Pilots.
