Collection of 13 yearly passes for admission to the National Baseball Hall of Fame presented to Mr. Bill Skiff. All passes measure approx. 2.25" x 3.75" and remain in excellent condition though some toning and scuffing is present to some of the off-white examples. Skiff appears to have signed both the 1950 and 1967 passes. Collection includes: 1950, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1970 donors pass, 1971, 1972, 1972-73 donor's pass, 1973, 1974. All passes hail directly from the estate of Bill Skiff who played briefly for both the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1921 and the New York Yankees in 1926, appearing in 22 games in the major leagues. Perhaps more interestingly Skiff played in parts of 19 seasons in the minor leagues for clubs located just about everywhere from New Jersey to Kansas City, Los Angeles, Toronto and elsewhere. Following his playing days Skiff managed in the minors for 14 seasons between 1933-51 before later becoming a scout for both the New York Yankees and Seattle Pilots.

Note: our printed catalog description states 12 passes are present. There are in-fact 13 passes included.
