Featured here is a rare and official scorecard from the prestigious pursuit of the coveted Schott Trophy from the 1892 baseball season. Measuring approx. 5.5" x 8.5", the front cover of the scorecard features the game-by-game schedule, under the auspices of the Tremont Club, for the 24th Ward Base Ball Tournament. The inside score card pages reflect an actual game’s results from that tournament, followed by a back cover with period New York City advertisements from that era including The Tremont Hotel, the Centennial Meat Market, and A. Le Moult the Florist, all from the Tremont, NY, neighborhood in the West Bronx. Overall condition appears good, lightly scored on the interior pages, with a long-ago flattened fold down the center, with some age-related discoloration throughout.
