One of many high-grade T206 cards offered in this auction this "Davis On Front" example of outfielder/first baseman Harry Davis is slightly off-center but otherwise extremely strong. Davis depicted here with the Athletics had a 22-year career in the majors though the last six seasons were largely spent as a coach playing only occasionally as a pinch hitter. Davis led the league in home runs four consecutive seasons between 1904 and 1907 and was one of the great players of the early 20th Century.
