The 1958 Topps set is a BIG set the biggest Topps issue up until that date. Set in-between the company's landmark 1957 issue and its popular 1959 set the 1958s are underrated the simplicity of the colorful designs and lack of key rookie cards have made the set less popular than some others of its era. However the large player selection has created several collecting challenges: notably a large number of Hall of Famers and a large number of variations within the set creating scarce "Yellow Name" and "Yellow Team" variations. Presented is a collector-grade complete set of 494 cards. Not a master set the collection includes a large number of Yellow Name and Yellow Team variations adding significantly to its value. Grading 2% EX-MT; 16% EX; 32% VG-EX; 41% VG; and 9% GOOD and lesser the set is not without condition issues even within its keys. Surface wear and corner rounding typical with well-handled cards can be seen throughout the set. However building a complete 1958 Topps set in any condition is a challenge and in this case the hard work is done.
