Lot Description  

Pair of original photos related to the 1914-15 Chicago Whales/Feds of the outlaw Federal League Includes: 1) lefthanded hurler Hippo Vaughn (6.5" x 8.5") and 2) infielder Rollie Zeider. Zeider's example includes a hologram indicating the photo originated from Christies landmark 1996 sale of Baseball Magazine's photo archives. Both photos exhibit areas of chipping around the white borders with evidence of creasing to the corner areas. Each is guaranteed to return as Type 1 if submitted to PSA for authentication.
