The 1941 Play Ball set introduced color to its card fronts – though many were simply colorized versions of the featured player’s 1940 Play Ball card. The set is anchored by cards of stars like Joe DiMaggio, Hank Greenberg, Ted Williams, Bill Dickey, Lefty Gomez, Carl Hubbell and Mel Ott, as well as the rookie card of Pee Wee Reese. But it’s also noted for the single, simultaneous appearance of all three DiMaggio brothers in the same trading card set as both Dom and Vince joined their brother Joe. Presented here is Dom’s #63 Play Ball issue with a spectacular signature in black ink by the Red Sox center fielder adorning the front. The autograph has been authenticated by PSA.
