Extremely rare and quite possibly unique blank-backed proof of oarsman John Teeter, from the 1887 N28 Allen & Ginter issue. Unlike the album-cut cards that occasionally make themselves available in the hobby, these are actually blank-backed proofs with visible printer's registration marks, and no name printed on the card. Only a few different examples from the set have been discovered (no baseball players, to our knowledge). The first example we have ever handled, an incredible discovery with spectacular aesthetic appeal.
