Pictured near the start of an almost 70-year career in baseball, Clark Griffith would be a pitcher, manager, team president and owner during his lifetime, elected to the Hall of Fame in 1946. This attractive card was graded PR 1 by PSA due largely to some cracking of the photographic emulsion at the bottom-right, which results in paper loss at the corner. When held at an angle, the cracking continues in the form of surface wrinkling along the entire right edge of the card. However, the wrinkling is very difficult to see, and the remaining wear is minor, restricted to the periphery of the card. Aesthetically pleasing, a tougher Hall of Famer from this landmark set.
